Vehicles waiting Restrictions on waiting for vehicles in Caerleon are to be brought in by Newport council, following complaints from local businesses.

Businesses complained that vehicles associated with Caerleon Endowed Primary School were causing problems.

As a result they will now be prohibited from waiting for longer than 30 minutes between 8am and 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Charity fun run Staff at Magor's Tesco distribution centre will hold a charity fun run for Marie Curie Cancer Care on September 14.

Office buildings Alexandra Dock in West Way Road, Newport, has applied to build an equipment service facility and new office buildings on land to the west of the south dock.

Unwanted phones Newport businesses are invited to dispose of unwanted mobile phones, ink-jet cartridges and toner cartridges by donating them to Raven House via its shops in Cromwell Road, Ringland Centre or Laburnum Drive to be recycled.
